Initiatives/Works in progress:

	Keys Vision 2010 - Strategic Plan Development for the Ventura Keys Association
	Web-based Membership Platform - The VKA is adopting and integrating the Club Express web-based association management software with www.venturakeys.com. This system will allow for improved VKA member communication, web forums, blogs, community reports, and other members-only information. See www.clubexpress.com for details on how this system will work.
	CC&R's - The VKA is researching the Ventura Keys CC&R's in an effort to develop an action plan to address challenges stemming from their dated nature and enforcement challenges.
	Finger Dredging - The Keys fingers will require dredging in the next 3+ years. No system of financing this $3mm (or more) project has been developed. The VKA is researching this matter and developing an action plan to address this problem.
	Keys Strategic Traffic Ops Plan (KeysSTOP) - The VKA will be working with the City to develop a comprehensive traffic management plan for the Ventura Keys.
	Keys Entrance Redesign -The VKA has formed a committee to develop plans to redesign and modernize the Keys entrances.
	Odor complaint online hotline - We are in the process of developing an on-line odor tracking complaint form. The collection of odor complaints will enable the VKA to aggressively attack this problem with local and state agencies.
	Palm tree inventory and tree management - The VKA wants to solve the long-standing problem of palm tree trimming. We have begun the process of cataloging the city and private palm trees in order to develop a comprehensive tree maintenance plan that incorporates both the City trimming efforts and private efforts.

	Keys survey data compilation
	Website ad sales - venturakeys.org is supported entirely by ad sales.
	Big beach basketball court resurfacing
	Lettered three homeowners regarding substandard conditions (overgrown yards, broken gangway, general poor appearance) and have reported and discussed these problems to the City.
	The VKA has lettered and is engaged with the County of Ventura regarding a solution to Arundell Barranca trash problem associated with early rainy season runoff.
